Worskhop on Machine Learning sponsored by Asseco

Asseco PST will be a Premium Sponsor of the 2nd Edition of the "Madeira International Workshop in Machine Learning." A five-day event scheduled for July 18 to 22, which will take place in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, at the magnificent space of Madeira Tecnopolo, which promises several novelties compared to last year's edition.

One of the new features of the 2022 edition is the inclusion of a day dedicated exclusively to companies, with an entrance open to the public. This Company Day aims to be the main forum for information and communication technologies in Madeira, providing an opportunity for companies to share their products and services (related or not to Machine Learning) and foster their collaboration. We will also be present with a corporate stand to demonstrate our solutions.

The first four days will be dedicated to workshops that demonstrate the basic steps necessary to work in Machine Learning with Phyton. The sessions consist of lectures and practical sessions led by researchers with experience in Machine Learning applications.

Starting with simpler topics, we will then move on to more advanced and current subjects (LSTMs and CNNs), ending with the development of an Android application for smartphones. Asseco PST will have six of its employees participating in this workshop, with the purpose of learning and gaining additional skills in Machine Learning. 

The team behind the organization of the workshop is a research group in Machine Learning originating from the Interactive Technologies Institute - LARSys, composed of several university professors and international researchers specialized in the field.
