Asseco PST ensures its participation in events in various geographies
Maintaining close relations with customers, sharing knowledge and communicating the brand are three goals that Asseco PST does not lose sight of, even in the midst of a pandemic. The company's presence at events in the various geographies where it operates will remain strong in 2021. Whether in person or online, we are already working on eight different stages.
So far, Asseco PST's programme for this year includes the brand's presence at eight events: three webinars organised by the company and participation in five events in four different countries: Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde.
As far as webinars are concerned, two will be conducted by our risk department. Because our sessions are not only focused on software, one of the webinars will be on the subject of 'Environmental and Social Risks in Credit Risk Analysis'. A choice driven by the fact that social issues and environmental concerns are now unavoidable in an increasingly global and interconnected world.
The second webinar will be on 'Credit Monitoring and Recovery', where we will present and promote a discussion on concerns around non-performing loans, complementing the presentation of our ARC software. The third webinar will be on 'High Availability Solutions' with a focus on core banking.
In terms of event presence, we will be at the 'Bank Tech Forum', hosted by PSO Global on 18 June, in Lisbon, at the Fintech House. It will be an in-person event and we have already confirmed the attendance of institutions such as the Bank of Portugal, the Portuguese Banking Association, Banco CTT, Montepio, Novo Banco and MillenniumBCP, among others.
In July, from 26 to 30, we will be at the Angola Innovation Summit 2021. 'Thinking the Future' is the theme chosen for this 100% digital forum, which aims to establish itself as the biggest innovation event in the PALOP. Asseco PST will be present as a silver sponsor, speaking on the panel 'Digital Applications Security and Recommendations for Inherent Risk Mitigation Measures'.
In the first week of September, we will be present at the inauguration of the Cape Verde Digital Technological Park in Praia, which aims to be a reference in digital transmission throughout the Atlantic and East Africa, receiving and offering support to all companies and entities in the digital sector in an innovative way. Within a sharing circles conferences model, Asseco PST will sponsor a conference on Risk Management.
Between 27 September and 1 October, we will be attending IDC Directions, this year under the theme 'Delivering Digital Resiliency & Agility in a Changed World'. Asseco PST will be a Gold sponsor on the very first day of this digital event themed 'Future of Enterprise Vision'.
Finally, on 16 and 17 September, we will also be attending Mozambique's largest information and communication technology fair – Moztech 2021 - Expo Digital de Moçambique –, taking part in the panel on 'Digital Transformation' under the theme 'Digital Financial Services'. Created in 2014 with the aim of contributing to the development and transformation of this Portuguese-speaking country, by putting technology at the service of its citizens, this year, the fair will adopt a hybrid format, in view of the current pandemic scenario. In a space full of case presentations, interviews and debates, broadcasted both on television and digital platforms, Asseco PST will, once again, be present.
