Asseco PST awarded "Estatuto Inovadora" by COTEC Portugal

Asseco PST has been awarded with the Innovative Status by COTEC Portugal. This distinction aims to recognize national companies with high innovation performance. The status not only enhances the prestige of brands but also provides advantages in banking relationships, such as obtaining better financing conditions.

With this distinction, Asseco PST joins the group of entities recognized by the Association for Innovation for their financial robustness, investment in innovation capital, and strong economic and financial performance.

"This is a seal of reputation and prestige that we are proud to hold. It means publicly acknowledging that our company can be considered a good example for the country in terms of competitiveness, growth, and value creation through innovation," says Miguel Lúcio, member of the board of Asseco PST.

The certificate awarded recognizes companies' investment in "intangible capital" and innovation. The Innovative Status, created by COTEC Portugal, is the result of a partnership with the financial sector, including the main commercial banks operating in our country, namely CGD, BPI, Millenniumbcp, Santander, Novo Banco, Bankinter, and Crédito Agrícola. Launched for the first time in 2021, this was the fourth edition of the initiative.

Alongside Asseco PST, our subsidiary Finantech, specialist in solutions for the capital markets based in Porto, was also awarded with the same status by COTEC Portugal. A double reason for pride!
