With more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector and in Risk and Compliance, since 2012 Asseco PST has had a team dedicated exclusively to implementing solutions in this area.
The main objective of this team is to help our customers mitigate the risks associated with their activity and to design and implement solutions that allow them to report reliable information efficiently to regulatory authorities.
The growing importance of reducing the risks arising from the banking activity, namely Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Reputational Risk and Market Risk, makes it a mission for specialists. Asseco PST is focused on counselling, designing processes, training and reviewing business strategies with the Financial Institutions it works with.
Scope of services
Supporting Financial Institutions in complying with Legislative Standards – Taking into account the developments and changes observed in the legislation of the countries where our customers operate, our main challenge is to guarantee compliance with the legal standards in force by supporting the interpretation of the legislation in question and implementing efficient functionalities in the execution of legal procedures.
Risk Mitigation – In accordance with our customers' business strategy, we analyse and measure the different risks associated with the activities arising from their business processes. This exercise requires in-depth knowledge of the market and economy in which our customers are positioned.
Change Management – Risk mitigation often involves redefining the Financial Institution's internal processes. We support the outlining or redefining processes, always with the optimisation of different activities inherent to the business, the automation of procedures and the correct allocation of activities or tasks to the different areas of the Bank as our main objectives. This type of action increasingly needs complementary initiatives of communication, training and internal alignment of our customers.
Training – Bearing in mind that the majority of the Risk and Compliance team's projects have as their main objective to guarantee alignment with legislation, theoretical and practical training is one of the most important phases for the success of the projects. As experts, we have in-depth knowledge of the subject to be trained, both from a theoretical and practical point of view, in order to ensure that at the end of the training phase there is a correct interpretation of the subject in question, and training in the execution of new procedures, activities and internal rules.
