Asseco Solidária: a sustained commitment to corporate social responsibility

Throughout 2025, Asseco Solidária delivered a broad range of initiatives designed to support individuals and families living in vulnerable circumstances across the regions where Asseco PST operates. Thanks to the generosity and strong engagement of our employees — who contributed goods, financial donations and their time — this mission remains a unifying force that will continue to inspire action in 2026.

Equally important as the teams’ focus on the company’s core business has been the commitment of Asseco PST’s Team Solidário to assisting disadvantaged communities. From Portugal to Africa, colleagues have continued to unite around meaningful causes, driven by the belief that collective action truly makes a difference.

The past 12 months saw a significant increase in solidarity initiatives. In Lisbon, employees once again took part in the “Restolho” programme promoted by ENTRAJUDA in partnership with Banco Alimentar, helping in the orchards of the Palace of Queluz. Together with JUST A CHANGE, the company also organised an Asseco Solidarity Day, during which 25 volunteers began the rehabilitation of the CEDROS headquarters. Another initiative involved supporting Rising Roses, an organisation dedicated to women who have faced breast cancer, by contributing to transformative photography sessions that celebrate their strength and resilience.

Preparations began in autumn season for the winter campaign to support homeless individuals, involving the distribution of sleeping bags and blankets in Lisbon — through Legião da Boa Vontade and Comunidade Vida e Paz — and in Funchal, with the support of CASA. Over Christmas, the company joined the Make‑A‑Wish campaign, helping to fulfil the wishes of many children.

In Madeira, continued assistance was provided to a low‑income family, ensuring access to essential goods, including medication. In Angola, volunteers visited the “Não há órfãos em Deus” shelter, delivering food, securing water and fuel supplies, and spending meaningful time with the children.

In Mozambique, local volunteers helped plant small gardens at the Magoanine C elderly home and distributed blankets and other essential items. In parallel, employees in Portugal mobilised to send a substantial shipment of goods to AVOMAC, a volunteer-led association supporting vulnerable mothers and children in Matola, Maputo — arriving just in time to bring joy to many families over Christmas.

In early 2026, Team Solidário mobilised once more, this time to support communities affected by Depression Kristin. All contributions were directed through Cáritas to families in the Leiria district, one of the areas hardest hit by the severe weather.

All of this — and so much more — is made possible by the altruism and dedication of our employees. There is no excess in doing what is right.
