Asseco PST receives award for outstanding export performance

Asseco PST has been recognised in Portugal at the 15th Export & Internationalisation Awards for its contribution to expanding Portuguese products and services in international markets. The initiative is organised annually by Jornal de Negócios and Novo Banco, in partnership with Iberinform.

The Export & Internationalisation Awards highlight the dynamism and competitive strength of Portuguese companies operating abroad, recognising their role in driving economic growth. The initiative aims not only to acknowledge the merit of the award winners but also to showcase success stories that can inspire the future of the Portuguese economy.

Among more than 40,000 exporting companies in Portugal, only 15 were distinguished this year. Asseco PST received an Honourable Mention in the category Strategic Sector: ICT, with the jury highlighting the company’s export performance following an analysis of its economic and financial indicators. With a turnover of 49 million euros in the last financial year, the company achieved an export rate of 84%, operating across eight different geographies.

The Export & Internationalisation Awards were presented at a ceremony held in Lisbon at MAAT – Museum of Electricity, where Asseco PST’s CEO, Daniel Araújo, took the stage to accept the distinction.

In the video shown during the award ceremony, Araújo highlighted the company’s three-decade journey in developing software for the financial industry, its ongoing commitment to research and development, and its continuous investment in people and skills. These factors, he stated, have enabled Asseco PST not only to modernise existing client solutions but also to innovate and embrace emerging industry trends.
