Asseco PST served as the technology partner selected by Banco Sol to develop its new Internet and Mobile Banking solutions. The new digital platform, Sol Kumbu, represents a significant milestone in the bank’s strategic commitment to innovation and to the digital transformation of its services.
Designed to deliver faster, more flexible and more secure online financial services, Sol Kumbu provides a modern and intuitive user experience, aligned with current market expectations for mobility, efficiency and high‑level security across the financial sector.
From Banco Sol’s perspective, the platform strengthens customer proximity by placing digital channels at the heart of the user journey, in a landscape where banking clients are increasingly demanding, digitally oriented and highly mobile.
The platform was recently unveiled in Luanda during a dedicated event hosted by Banco Sol, which brought together strategic partners, media representatives and senior executives from the Angolan financial sector. Asseco PST participated at executive level.
Asseco PST’s Digital Banking solutions are currently deployed across 19 financial institutions spanning Africa, Europe and Asia. These end‑to‑end, robust and configurable solutions are designed to support online financial services fully adaptable to each institution’s identity, branding and strategic ambitions.
A key differentiating element is the native integration with Asseco’s own Core Banking system, enabling efficient, secure and real‑time communication between digital channels and the Core.
