Asseco Academy prepares new course in Angola with registrations opening in November

The commitment to training in technology applied to the financial sector is stronger than ever, with Asseco Academy continuing to be the cornerstone of this strategy. Upon finishing the fourth edition of the training program in Mozambique, we are excited to announce the ninth edition in Angola. Applications for the PFS Certification Program will be open from November 11 to 24.
The ninth edition of the training program organized by Asseco Academy in the Angolan market is scheduled to begin on January 13. As in previous editions, we anticipate that this initiative will attract hundreds of applications, from which 15 candidates will be selected to begin their training. Each previous edition in Angola has seen an average of over 1,000 registrations. The program targets recent graduates or final-year university students seeking to specialize in the banking sector, particularly those from backgrounds in Computer Engineering, Economics, Management, and Accounting.
The training costs will continue to be fully covered by Asseco PST. This commitment to free training for participants, sustained since the Academy's creation, represents the company's contribution to the development of skilled local professionals in the various regions where it operates, as well as its share in fostering human capital development.
The Asseco Academy training program will follow a hybrid format, incorporating both in-person and online sessions. Over the course of eight modules, participants will cover various aspects of banking, including topics such as financial markets and products, payment methods, retail banking solutions, debit and credit card solutions, and credit transfers and payments, among others.
Evaluation of participants will be conducted through practical assignments in each module, regular tests at the end of the modules, and a final project. Upon successful certification, these young candidates will be equipped to embark on a career in finance, enhancing their ability to provide added value in their work.
The new edition currently being prepared in Angola follows a similar program that concluded in Mozambique at the beginning of the second semester, where the final number of certified trainees was also 15.
