Asseco Academy prepares 5th edition of training program in Mozambique
Committed to the continuous development of skills in the financial sector, Asseco Academy is finalizing preparations for another free intensive training program in Mozambique. The 5th edition of the PFS Certification Program, which lasts eight weeks, will begin in September, in Maputo.
The program is aimed at candidates looking to acquire skills to work with technology applied to the financial sector. Between late June and early July, the application phase took place, followed by the selection of 15 trainees.
As usual, the recruitment process was conducted among final-year students and recent graduates in Computer Engineering, Economics, Management and Accounting, with several hundred applications submitted.
Across the first four editions, the program developed by Asseco Academy has already certified around 60 new specialists in Mozambique in the fundamental concepts of the banking business.
With a total of 240 hours, combining in-person and online sessions, the program offers direct contact with experienced professionals in banking and technology consultancy. It also provides certified training in Asseco PST solutions – in particular the PFS – Promosoft Financial Suite, used by many banks operating in Mozambique.
All Asseco Academy’s work is based on the fundamental belief that an organization’s learning culture is one of its most important competitive advantages. Most studies support this view, showing that companies that invest in this type of culture tend to achieve better results in key indicators such as innovation, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Hence the ongoing commitment to training new talent – a benefit both to Asseco and to the financial sector.
